Hawzah News Agency- with the efforts of the All India Shia Council, the Ahl al-Bayt Council of India, and Delhi scholars, a memorial ceremony was held in India to commemorate the martyr Ayatollah Seyyed Ebrahim Raisi, the President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Hossein Amir Abdollahian, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, and his companions in which a large number of clerics and people from different parts of Delhi participated.
Hujjat al-Islam Mehdi Mahdavipour, the representative of the Iranian Supreme Leader in India, said,” Iranian President Martyr Ayatollah Seyyed Ebrahim Raisi and Foreign Minister Dr. Hossein Amirabdollahian worked tirelessly in supporting the system of the Islamic Republic of Iran and the Islamic world, especially the oppressed people of Palestine in Gaza and that is why all Muslims are saddened by this tragedy.”
Hujjat al-Islam Mumtaz Ali, the imam of the Imamiya Mosque, while paying his respect to the martyrs, noted that the sadness of this incident can be seen all over the world. A wave of grief has spread all over the world from this tragedy and the message of condolence for these martyrs are pouring in from all over the world including India.
Hujjat al-Islam Mohsen Taqavi, the imam of the Jama Masjid of the Gate of Kashmiri, India, said,” The role played by martyr Ebrahim Raisi and his companions in the welfare of the Muslim nation and in supporting the oppressed Palestinians is exemplary.”
Hujjat al-Islam Seyyed Shamshad Ahmad Razavi also stated,” Unfortunately, some people are celebrating this incident. Undoubtedly, they are like those who were happy about the martyrdom of Imam Hussain (PBUH).”
Hujjat al-Islam Mohammad Reza Gharavi, head of the Ahl al-Bayt Council of India, also emphasized that Hossein Amir Abdullahian, Iran's foreign minister, was a brave and moral man.
Hujjat al-Islam Jenan Asghar Mollai, head of the Shia Council of All India, while wishing the strength of the Islamic revolution and the health of the supreme leader, said that the martyrdom of President Raisi, same as the martyrdom of General Qassim Soleimani, Dr. Mohsen Fakhrizadeh, and martyr General Zahedi is a great loss for the Supreme Leader and Iran.”
